Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

CLS/Med Tech

MLT/MT needed asap with MT/MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent required. Two years Medical Technologist experience in hospital setting preferred. Current state Medical Laboratory Scientist license required. Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA) preferred. Refer to the Required Licenses and Certifications list for additional job and/or unit specific requirements. Able to work chemistry, hematology, blood bank and microbiology set up/rapid tests. Cerner Pathnet and Beckman chemistry, hematology analyzer familiarity.
