Field Service Technicians - Power Generation w/USA Wide Travel - Houston, TX Enerflex is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians for their Power Generation division in Houston, Texas. These professionals will support the commissioning, operation, and reliability of large natural gas reciprocating engine-driven power generation assets. Perks & Benefits Competitive wages Generous healthcare, dental, and vision plans 401(k) employer matching Generous paid time off program Employee equity plan Tuition reimbursement Fun office environment Paid travel to project and customer sites What You'll Need High school diploma or GED 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of reciprocating engine-driven power generation equipment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with generator set startup, commissioning, and maintenance planning Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, electrical drawings, and commissioning procedures Willingness to travel up to 75% to project and customer sites across the United States Ability to work independently in field, plant, factory, and occasional office environments Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available) What Will Make You Stand Out Experience with large gas engine platforms (CAT CG260/3520, Waukesha 9394/16V275, Jenbacher, or similar) Experience supporting factory testing (FAT) and site commissioning of generator packages Familiarity with reliability and availability concepts for power generation equipment Knowledge of emissions control systems (e.g., SCR) and associated auxiliary equipment Exposure to basic controls settings, tunable, and generator synchronization concepts Experience supporting plant startups, outages, and operational troubleshooting events #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Job Shop
