Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid state teaching credentials in Special Education
• Background working with students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities
• Experience with applied behavior analysis and specially designed instruction highly preferred
• Comfort and proficiency supporting students with complex needs, including those who require toileting assistance
• Skilled in collaborating with classroom aides, RBTs, and related service providers
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
• Foster a positive, engaging, and safe classroom community
• Implement behavioral strategies and work closely with behavioral staff
• Manage daily tasks including toileting and personal care for students as necessary
• Collaborate with caregivers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all reporting requirements
