As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarms and access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 09:15 PM - 07:15 AM Fri 09:15 PM - 07:15 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for authorized personnel and guests. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts according to site protocols. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Experience with alarm panels is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
