Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Provides a quality Speech Language Pathology program to clients.

This is a casual position which will require two weekend shifts each month in our acute care and inpatient rehab units.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services.

• Maintain compliance with all competency requirements for regulatory and accrediting agencies, and health care provider prerequisites.

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology.

• Attend and participate actively in staff meetings, development, committees, and in-service education.

• Adhere to organizational policies, including the Corporate Compliance Program and HIPAA regulations.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate professional records for all patients.

• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards the public and colleagues.

• Compile and report data for the financial, statistical, and administrative needs of the programs.

• Coordinate the evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs for clients.

• Achieve and maintain productivity standards and pursue professional growth aligned with the organization's mission.

• MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service.

• Acute care and/or inpatient rehab experience, preferredLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Speech Pathologists license required for state in which employee provides services.
