Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Role The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Responsibilities Conducts physical, social, and psychological assessments, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, develops individualized care plans, delegates and coordinates care, and evaluates patient outcomes. Promotes professionalism by adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining licensure compliance. Skills Patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and patient evaluation. Qualifications Valid RN license, Basic Life Support certification and a BSN (required by a specified date). Experience less than 12 months requires obtaining a BSN within four years. Physical Requirements Ability to read, communicate, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
