Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Assess: Evaluates patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from various team members. Plan: Develops individualized care plans involving patients, families, and healthcare teams, including education and follow-up planning. Implement: Delegates and coordinates care delivery, managing priorities, resources, and supplies efficiently. Evaluate: Monitors patient responses to interventions, revising care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Professionalism: Upholds legal and ethical standards, maintains accurate documentation, and promotes professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license; BLS certification required. Basic critical thinking, communication, patient care coordination, and documentation skills. Preferred: BSN from an accredited institution. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, hear, and manipulate equipment; lift and transfer patients; stand and walk for extended periods; and, for roles involving driving, operate vehicles safely. #J-18808-Ljbffr
