Lead Accountant

Spectrum Search is working with a fast-growing holding company in Irving that is looking for a Lead Accountant to join a sharp corporate accounting team. This opportunity offers great exposure to acquisitions, system improvements, and high-level corporate close work. Responsibilities Execute key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Prepare, review, and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support consolidations and financial statement reporting Analyze monthly results and variances for leadership Partner with AP, AR, FP&A, Treasury, and Payroll to ensure accurate accruals and reporting Support audits and system improvement initiatives (ERP enhancements, reporting tools) What's needed 3+ years of public accounting experience Active CPA certification Strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), genuine work/life balance with true 40–45 hour weeks, and a great resume-building opportunity.
