Position Overview

The Medical Receptionist plays a lead role in the front-desk and administrative responsibilities of a physician team. This position is central to the care process and patient experience, handling everything from patient scheduling to insurance coordination. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, surgical centers, and X-ray teams, while utilizing EMR systems to document patient data and execute check-in or pre-op documentation.

Position Requirements

• Experience: High school diploma and two or more years of medical administrative or receptionist experience, with EMR knowledge (EPIC preferred) and surgical scheduling experience preferred.

• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, a friendly and courteous demeanor, and the ability to strictly comply with all HIPAA requirements.
