You will serve as a Certified School Nurse (CSN), responsible for overseeing all aspects of the health office, completing thorough medical reviews, and actively participating in IEP and 504 meetings as a collaborative team member. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current RN license in Illinois (unrestricted)
• Certification or eligibility as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• Prior experience in a school nursing, pediatric, or public health setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and student support services
• Proficiency in conducting detailed medical reviews and recordkeeping
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong commitment to student health, wellness, and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the daily operations of the health office, addressing both routine and urgent student health needs
• Conduct comprehensive medical reviews to support students' educational plans
• Serve as an active participant and valuable resource in IEP and 504 meetings
• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and perform required health screenings
• Coordinate care with staff, families, and community providers
• Document health records accurately and maintain compliance with school policies
