This position involves providing care in a nephrology telemetry unit. The nurse will manage patients with unstable cardiac conditions and renal failure. Ratios will be 1 nurse to 5-6 patients. Nurses are required to work 2 shifts every other weekend. The role includes peritoneal dialysis as a special requirement. All candidates must possess BCLS and NIH certifications. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed beds. Support teams for IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more are available. Daily census is approximately 25 patients. Candidates may float within the service line as needed. No call requirements for this position.
