This position is for a nephrology telemetry unit. The nurse will work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Ratios will be 1:5-6 for patient care. Weekend shifts are required, with two shifts every other weekend. First-timers are accepted for this position. This role does not require on-call duties. The nurse may float within their scope to meet facility needs. The position involves caring for adult patients with various diagnoses including unstable cardiac conditions and renal failure. Special procedures include peritoneal dialysis. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Additional skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Charting will be done using EPIC. No local candidates are accepted within a 75 mile radius. This is an acute care hospital setting with a total of 233 staffed beds.
