About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to read rhythms - Knowledge of cardiac medications and drips (no titration) Description: Telemetry nights position available. The nurse will provide care for cardiac patients. The patient ratio is 1:5-6. There is a requirement of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Candidates are expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias is required. Knowledge of starting and maintaining IVs is necessary. Experience with cardiac drips (no titration) is essential. Skills in biPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care are needed. The unit will have interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and respiratory services. Additional unit patient diagnoses include TAVR and post-cardiac surgery care. All required skills must be confirmed at the time of confirmation. Candidates must comply with all requirements upon submission. No RTO is allowed in the first week of the assignment. All time off must be finalized before submission.
