Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Location: Dover, NH

Salary: $36-48 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis) by removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
• Conduct oral health assessments and charting of conditions of teeth and gums.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
• Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet.
• Assist in developing individualized oral hygiene plans.
• Screen for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and oral cancer.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in using dental software and digital imaging tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and patient care.
