Pediatric Clinical Immunologist / Rank Dependent on Qualifications

Position Overview The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah Spencer F. Eccles School of Medicine, has an immediate opening for a board‑certified/eligible Pediatric Immunologist who will join the Pediatric Immunology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Program. The pediatric clinical immunologist will provide clinical consultation and ongoing care for a large and growing immunology program and will also participate in clinical and/or basic research in inborn errors of immunity. The pediatric immunologist will also function as our Immunology liaison to the Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) and will provide primary management of Utah and surrounding state newborn screening programs for severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). Clinical activities will be carried out at Primary Children’s Hospital’s main campus and our companion campus in Lehi, Utah. Responsibilities Provide clinical consultation and ongoing care for a large and growing pediatric immunology program. Participate in clinical and/or basic research in inborn errors of immunity. Serve as the Immunology liaison to the Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC). Provide primary management of Utah and surrounding state newborn screening programs for severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). Implement early phase and investigator‑initiated clinical trials and collaborate with established immunology and cell therapy programs. Engage in academic work, including education, administration, and advocacy. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Allergy/Immunology. Faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
