We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Middletown, NY. These are immediate openings, and qualified candidates may receive same-day offers following interviews this Thursday morning.
Available Shifts
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Alternating Saturdays)
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Alternating Sundays)
Paid breaks (when remaining on-site)
Position Overview
Forklift Operators are responsible for safely moving materials throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations. This role requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack materials
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and incoming shipments
- Perform accurate inventory handling and storage within warehouse locations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (cleaning, charging, fueling)
- Ensure proper documentation and inventory tracking
- Follow all safety procedures, secure loads, and report any hazards
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Ability to work assigned shift and overtime schedule (when applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Experience with inventory handling or material movement preferred
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
