Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment

Responsibilities

• Provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).
• Assists with activities of daily living, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, and positioning.
• Takes and records vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
• Helps patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Performs clerical duties, including routing patient reports appropriately.
• Provides assessment data to the certified nurse within the scope of practice.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
