Englewood Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our long standing orthopedic practice – Englewood Orthopedic Associates, at our Woodland Park location. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon who is committed to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and serving a diverse patient population across Bergen County and surrounding communities.

Team of 11 surgeons, 7 physician assistants, 1 physical therapist, 1 occupational therapist. Dedicated block time in the operating room. What your day will look like:

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within your subspecialty and scope of training.
• Conduct pre‑operative and post‑operative patient consultations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests such as X‑rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non‑surgical options.
• Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, surgical expectations, and recovery timelines.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, physician assistants, nurses, radiologists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in On‑Call Coverage as assigned for orthopedic emergencies and trauma cases.
• Maintain accurate medical records and timely documentation in Epic to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best‑practice development.

Qualifications:

• MD degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Surgery
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
• DEA & NJ CDS registration
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
• Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
• Experience in a community‑based or hospital‑based orthopedic practice preferred
