The successful candidate must understand electrical construction firsthand, be capable of leading experienced field electricians, communicate professionally with General Contractors and customers, and confidently address technical and operational issues that arise on active jobsites.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate combines strong commercial electrical field credibility with professional Project Management, customer communication, and estimating abilityThis opportunity may be particularly attractive to an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Service Manager, or Lead Electrician who has already been responsible for crews, jobsites, materials, schedules, and GC/customer communication and is ready to take the next step into broader Project Management and Estimating responsibilities.Candidates currently working as Electrical Project Managers, Project Manager/Estimators, Electrical Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, Service Managers, or experienced Lead Commercial Electricians are encouraged to apply if you have the technical knowledge, leadership ability, communication skills, and professional presence required to move into or continue growing within Project Management.Project Management ResponsibilitiesManage commercial and industrial electrical projects from handoff through completionManage approximately 3–7 active projects depending on project size and complexityCoordinate field crews, manpower, schedules, materials, equipment, and project prioritiesVisit jobsites regularly and provide leadership and technical support to field electriciansCommunicate directly with General Contractors, customers, suppliers, and other tradesParticipate in project meetings, jobsite visits, estimates, and project coordinationMonitor project schedules, progress, and field productivityIdentify and manage scope changes and change ordersCoordinate material purchasing, supplier pricing, availability, and lead timesMaintain accurate project documentationMonitor labor, project costs, and overall project profitabilityResolve field conditions, technical issues, scheduling conflicts, and constructability concernsPromote safety, quality, productivity, and accountabilityDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and General ContractorsTake ownership of projects through successful completionEstimating ResponsibilitiesReview commercial electrical plans, specifications, and bid documentsPerform electrical material takeoffsDevelop labor and material requirementsObtain and evaluate supplier and vendor pricingPrepare estimates and bid packagesIdentify scope gaps, drawing conflicts, constructability concerns, and potential code issuesAssist with bid strategy and project pricingPrepare estimates for change orders and additional workParticipate in bid follow-up and negotiationsThe company currently uses Quantum estimating software.
