Physician / Community Hematology Oncology Clinic Location: Beaverton, Oregon (US-OR-Beaverton) Job Type: Unclassified Administrative Position Type: Regular Full-Time Salary Range: $447,926 - $497,696 (Rate will be determined based on education, experience, and internal equity) FTE: 1.00 Schedule: Monday - Friday; occasional nights and weekends Recruitment Incentives: Relocation and Hiring Bonus. Drug testable: Yes. Department Overview The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute is a pioneer in personalized cancer medicine and an international leader in cancer research and treatment. The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology comprises specialists dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. Function/Duties of Position The role will provide services as assigned to support the university's missions of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service. Care of patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, Beaverton location, and possibly other practice locations as needed. Support the mission, goals, and objectives of OHSU, The Knight Cancer Institute, The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, and the School of Medicine. Participate with other Division and CHO staff and provider teams as needed. Participate in administrative committees and councils of OHSU, Legacy, and other community partners as approved by the Division Head and Section Chief. Engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with the knowledge and consent of the Division Head and Section Chief. Participate, as desired, in the education of medical students and house staff. Ensure that every patient has an opportunity to be considered for a clinical trial. Provide coverage for multiple CHO locations as needed (Portland Metro-East, Tualatin, Gresham, Breast Cancer specialist, and Float 0.0 FTE). The role may perform community-based clinical care as part of an academic health system. Required Qualifications MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, or MBBCh. Medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Oregon; board certified or board eligible in medical oncology/hematology. Desire to practice in a community-based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system. Preferred Qualifications Physician leadership experience demonstrating the background, focus, and drive to excel and the ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting.
