MARKETING ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

Location Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222 Schedule Full and part time schedules. Open availability preferred. Flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, possible travel required. Pay Range $20.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour Job Summary We are hiring immediately for full time Marketing Assistant positions. As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist with marketing, merchandising, and promotions to ensure superior service and maximize profits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Analyze customer/resident research, current market conditions and competitor information. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts. Expand and develop marketing platforms. Manage productivity of marketing plans and projects. Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results. Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget. Report on return on investment and key performance metrics. Create marketing presentations. Monitor industry best practices and trends. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1 year of marketing experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to large groups. Knowledge of merchandising and promotions. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing is preferred.
