This full-time night shift position offers an opportunity to provide specialized care to patients with a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory conditions, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities. The role requires a competent nurse capable of practicing independently under the scope of the profession and delivering both routine and complex patient care. Job Details Location: Texas Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty; current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association; RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar clinical setting with skills in managing respiratory, sepsis, and co-morbid conditions, and participation in residency or specialized orientation programs Responsibilities: Meet expectations of nursing competencies, practice independently, provide routine and complex care, administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, document patient history and care, educate patients and families, and manage clinical contingencies. Schedule: Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Additional Information: Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, with precepted onboarding and competency validation; experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
