Commercial Analyst - Level I

Brief Description The Commercial Analyst 1 is responsible for the following Primary Responsibilities Supports the Commercial Team in Sales Pursuits by Project managing timelines and subject matter input to all RFIs Aiding in the development of RFI and RFP questionnaire responses, including timely import of RFIs into appropriate tools, assigning questions, answering questions and providing updates to SMEs as needed Supporting Sales Leads in responses to clients pertaining to RFI requests Conducting quality reviews of all RFIs/RFPs/materials being presented to external parties Helping Sales Leads in developing bid defense materials and partnering with Marketing to identify new or revised collateral needs Maintain commercial data and perform supporting analysis by Managing data input into CRM per study and per company requirements Generating needed reports to support sales, marketing, finance and senior management that include both routine weekly reporting and ad-hoc reporting requests Collaborating with the marking team to create automated reports and dashboards from our CRM tool Maintaining RFI, RFP, other questionnaire database to ensure we always have the best and latest answers available for future questionnaires Analyzing RFI/RFP questions to uncover new areas of interest by sponsors to inform both marketing and sales collateral Assessing past proposals and identifying trends in wins and losses and to find pricing trends that might inform revisions to the pricing model Maintains and improves commercial enablement work product by Consistently improving upon sales materials including proposal templates, pricing models, and capabilities presentations Continually look for ways to improve team efficiency and throughput Continually look for ways to support commercial strategy Secondary Responsibilities Contributes to team effort by Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes Helping others to achieve results through collaboration Performing other duties as assigned Maintains Technical Knowledge by Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training Engaging Product Management, Delivery, Quality, Technology, Support, and other 4G team members to keep abreast of the latest features and functionality Maintaining a strong understanding of Industry trends and applicable technology Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to Sales Requirements Previous experience working with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry a plus Education and/or Certification Bachelor’s degree Project management/coordination experience preferred Compensation: $50k - $55k The salary range listed above represents a good-faith estimate of the base pay for this role and is provided to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
