Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
TRG Staffing Solutions is currently hiring Carpenter Helpers for a growing construction company. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with carpentry or general construction experience who are eager to contribute to residential and commercial construction projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, and general construction tasks.
- Measure, cut, and assemble building materials according to project specifications.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and equipment.
- Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after projects.
- Assist with the installation of lumber, trim, drywall, siding, flooring, doors, windows, and other building materials.
- Follow blueprints, measurements, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the lead carpenter or project supervisor.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or general construction.
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial carpentry practices.
- Experience using common hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification is an asset but not required.
