Custodian

Entech Staffing is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Custodian to join our team at a local college in Dearborn. As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our campus. This is a full-time position that works Monday thru Friday.

Roles And Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

- Waxing floors and scrubbing floors

- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed

- Empty and clean trash and recycling bins

- Set up and break down rooms for events and meetings

- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department

- Follow established safety protocols and procedures

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in custodial or general maintenance work preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation:

$17.22/hr

Work Hours:

2pm - 10pm

10pm-6am

Role In The Team:

As a Custodian, you will be an integral part of the Facilities team and will work closely with other team members to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the campus.
