Softgel Manufacturing Supervisor

Compensation & Shifts Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 Shifts: 2nd Shift (12pm-8:30pm) and 3rd Shift (8pm-4:30am). Both include Saturdays and Sundays. Position Summary The Softgel Manufacturing Supervisor oversees the production of softgels and other products, with a strong focus on the compounding and encapsulation processes, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently in compliance with company SOPs and cGMP guidelines. Responsibilities Oversee daily manufacturing operations. Monitor production schedules and organize workflow. Ensure high product quality and adherence to quality standards. Ensure proper execution of the softgel compounding process, including weighing, mixing, and verifying raw materials according to batch records. Monitor compounding and encapsulation parameters to maintain product quality and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot equipment and processes to comply with company SOPs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Follow all company SOPs and GMPs. Report any deviation in process to supervisor and QA/QC. Complete and fill out required reports. Act as liaison between production and maintenance. Implement process improvements to minimize costs and enhance production quality. Ensure safety and well‑being of co‑workers. Report safety hazards to supervisor and maintenance. Train and coach employees. Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Check production output against specifications. Complete employee performance evaluation forms and conduct evaluation meetings. Identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements. Train new employees on safe equipment use and procedures. Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards. Perform any other duties as assigned. Education At least high school diploma. Experience 3+ years’ direct experience with softgel manufacturing, including compounding, is required. Familiarity with a softgel manufacturing process is a must. Ability to create accountability and lead by example. Strong team‑building, decision‑making, and people‑management skills. Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach. Some mechanical experience preferred. Ability to read and write English. Ability to understand and follow all company SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
