Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position .

• Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm or Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:30pm
• Some holidays are required

Compensation

• Starting at $23/hour

What You’ll Do
As a Cardiology Veterinary Technician Assistant you’ll work closely with our board-certified cardiologist to support patients throughout their treatment—from diagnosis through diagnosis and follow-up. You’ll be a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and families.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in administering medications and chemotherapy under the supervision of an oncologist
• Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans
• Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling
• Maintain accurate medical records , treatment notes, and drug logs
• Provide empathetic client communication and education
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
• Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care during every step of treatment

Who We Are Looking For:

• A Veterinary Assistant, with veterinary experience
• Experience in specialty medicine and/or cardiology preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
• A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
