What a day looks like

Your afternoon or night shift kicks off with a quick scan of the production floor. You check key process indicators, spot trends, and jump on any abnormalities. When a defect appears, you trace its source, document findings, and help put countermeasures in place. You fine‑tune procedures as needed to keep the line stable and efficient, and you coach new teammates so they’re confident with each step.

You’re the connective tissue between production and quality—partnering with both internal stakeholders and external customers to resolve quality concerns quickly and prevent recurrence. Throughout the shift, you keep accurate records, from process adjustments to quality checks, ensuring everything is captured and retrievable. Where powered industrial equipment is required, you operate it safely and productively.

Your responsibilities

• Continuously monitor manufacturing processes and investigate the root cause of defects.
• Review procedures and make adjustments to improve day-to-day operations.
• Train new production associates on standard work and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance; arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and complete the full shift.
• Work overtime as required to meet demand.
• Collaborate effectively with others and contribute in a team environment.
• Engage with internal and external customers on quality-related issues and resolutions.
• Generate and maintain all required production and quality records.
• Obtain and maintain operator certification for every job you perform.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
• Champion and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be available to work afternoon or night shifts.
• Safely and productively operate powered industrial equipment when needed.
