Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Arkansas PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with restorative programs, gait training, transfers, and use of common assistive devices preferred. Ability to follow a treatment plan developed by a supervising Physical Therapist and document per facility policy.
