Make a difference in student communication and development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting schools in the Haysville, KS area. This flexible, part-time opportunity is perfect for an SLP passionate about helping middle and potentially elementary students overcome speech and language challenges.

You’ll work approximately 15 hours per week, specifically on Wednesdays and Fridays, during the 2026-2027 school year (August 11, 2026 – May 19, 2027). Exact caseload is still being determined, but you can expect to collaborate with school teams to make a measurable impact in students’ lives. Assignment locations will be finalized in the coming weeks, most likely focusing on middle and elementary school settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active CCC-SLP certification; valid state licensure required and must be submitted with your application
• Previous experience working with children in educational settings is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying school environments
• Competence in caseload management and service delivery aligned with school-based needs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and school support staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized plans for students
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, primarily in middle and/or elementary schools
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational staff
• Consult with teachers and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance student outcomes
