Head of Marketing

Our client is a fast-growing marketplace startup seeking a Head of Marketing to own end-to-end customer acquisition across both a B2C consumer brand and a B2B attorney platform — managing $300–400K/month in ad spend and building the marketing function from the ground up. This is a high-autonomy role for a growth marketing dynamo who can run paid media at scale, build a category‑leading SEO organization, and generate viral content that drives consumer attention—all while working directly with the CEO. What You'll Do Own end-to-end customer acquisition strategy across B2C and B2B, managing $300–400K/month in ad spend across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic channels. Optimize CAC, ROAS, and lead quality across all paid media channels. Build and scale a category‑leading SEO organization with content strategies that create durable organic acquisition advantages. Drive viral content and out‑of‑the‑box marketing ideas that generate consumer attention and brand awareness at scale. Transition marketing operations from an external agency to an in‑house function and eventually build and manage your own team. Work directly with the CEO to allocate budget, run structured experimentation programs, and identify asymmetric growth opportunities. Develop the B2B marketing channel to sell legal leads and case‑management software to law firms. Key Requirements 4–8 years in growth marketing with strong B2B and B2C experience. Scaled customer acquisition at a marketplace or fintech business. Deep expertise in paid media — Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic. Strong SEO and organic growth strategy experience. Creative and experimental – generates viral, out‑of‑the‑box ideas. Experience generating leads in legal, litigation, or high‑CAC industries (insurance, lending) a strong plus.
