Role Description

\n

As an Account Executive, you will build and manage relationships with business owners and referral partners (e.g., brokers, advisors, and other intermediaries) to drive high-quality deal flow onto Hum’s platform. You’ll work directly with founders and operators to help them access non-dilutive financing solutions .

\n

This is a hybrid role that blends relationship management, deal sourcing, and consultative sales , with exposure to a wide range of businesses across industries and geographies.

What You’ll Do

Own Relationships & Drive Deal Flow

\n

\n
• Build and nurture relationships with referral partners to generate consistent, high-quality company introductions
\n
• Develop a network of brokers, advisors, and other intermediaries
\n
• Identify co-marketing and community opportunities to educate business owners on financing solutions
\n
• Partner with internal teams to structure and execute referral agreements
\n

\n

Manage Inbound & Outbound Pipeline

\n

\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business owners seeking capital
\n
• Run discovery calls with founders and executives to understand financing needs
\n
• Qualify opportunities and match companies with appropriate financing solutions
\n
• Manage a high-velocity pipeline of inbound leads using Salesforce
\n

\n

\n

Drive Revenue & Prospecting Efforts

\n

\n
• Conduct strategic outbound to source new referral relationships and company leads
\n
• Maintain and grow an active pipeline across multiple industries and geographies
\n
• Collaborate closely with investment and deal teams to move opportunities forward
\n

Deliver a Best-in-Class Experience

• Ensure a seamless experience for both referral partners and their clients
\n
• Act as a trusted advisor using a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
\n

\n

Who You Are

\n

\n

\n
• 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or an AE/SDR role
\n
• Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and business owners
\n
• Strong communicator: articulate, concise, and confident
\n
• Highly driven, competitive, and goal-oriented
\n
• Intellectually curious with a strong interest in finance and investing
\n
• Preferred background relating to individuals that have banking, M&A or credit experience
\n
• Ability to understand financial statements and to pitch new credit opportunities to investment professionals
\n

• Experience working with brokers, lenders, financial advisors, or in fintech

• Background in credit, capital raising, or financial services
