White Meadow Lake Property Owner’s Association (WMLPOA) is seeking a  detail‐driven, proactive, and highly organized Senior Accountant to oversee the full financial operations of  two entities :

• A  not‐for‐profit organization , and
• A  for‐profit affiliated entity

This is a high‐impact role for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys improving processes, and values accuracy, transparency, and collaboration. You will work closely with leadership, committees, vendors, and staff to ensure financial integrity and smooth day‐to‐day operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead full‐cycle accounting for both our nonprofit POA and affiliated for‐profit entity
• Manage AP/AR, deposits, invoicing, collections, and weekly check runs
• Process payroll
• Oversee month‐end close and prepare financial statements for leadership and the Board
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with IRS and GAAP standards
• Support annual audits and prepare required documentation
• Develop annual and program budgets with committee chairs and community leaders
• Provide clear, accessible financial insights that help guide community decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; nonprofit experience helpful
• Strong proficiency in  QuickBooks ,  TOPS (or similar accounting software), and  Microsoft Office
• Experience with sub‐ledger reconciliation, month‐end close, and audit preparation
• Demonstrated ability to build budgets and collaborate with non‐financial stakeholders
• Exceptional accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‐oriented mindset
