Mechanical Assembler

1st Shift Mechanical Assembler

Pay: $21-$24/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble custom water purification systems using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble piping, including PVC, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials.
• Mount, fit, and secure mechanical components to frames and structures.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing of completed assemblies.
• Fabricate and modify components according to specifications.
• Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment.
• Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and shop housekeeping.
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards throughout the assembly process.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly, construction, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Team-based custom assembly projects.
• Daily use of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and blueprints.
• Requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing hands-on assembly throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
