Position Title Security Officer Unarmed Driver Watch in Johnstown, OH Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.50 per hour Job Schedule Wed, Thur, Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating with store leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity. Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations, and document observations and incidents according to site‑specific guidelines. Assist with closing procedures, access control, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy shopping periods, promotions, and special events. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may require state or local regulations before employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
