Senior Commercial Litigation Associate

McGuire Fecarotta & Jackson has been engaged by a highly regarded law firm to assist in the search for a Senior Commercial Litigation Associate . This opportunity is ideal for a litigator seeking high-level responsibility in complex matters involving the energy industry and regulatory disputes . Position Overview We are seeking an experienced associate with 4 to 8 years of commercial litigation experience , ideally with a background or strong interest in energy-sector disputes and regulatory matters . This role offers regular courtroom exposure, strategic case involvement, and the opportunity to work closely with clients and senior attorneys. Key Responsibilities: Advocate for clients in commercial and regulatory litigation , including matters involving energy markets and utility regulation . Lead or support all phases of litigation pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial prep. Draft and argue motions; take and defend depositions; prepare trial materials and expert witness submissions. Engage directly with clients and collaborate with partners to develop and execute litigation strategy. Candidate Qualifications: 4-8 years of commercial litigation experience, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with energy disputes , regulatory litigation , or proceedings before utility commissions . Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to lead litigation workstreams independently and manage multiple active matters. Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to waive in is required. Why This Role?
