What makes a successful Associate Financial Advisor Build meaningful client relationships with an understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to selling financial solutions. Primary Responsibilities Gather information and collect suitability to deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create a personalized, comprehensive strategy. Meet with clients regularly to track progress, uncover additional assets, address emerging concerns, and adjust strategies. Partner with other professionals (attorneys, accountants, trust officers) to fully understand client goals and circumstances. Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, allocation, and changes, and make recommendations to clients. Collaborate with the FA and branch team to align and adjust the branch business plan, improving effectiveness and achieving desired results. Build relationships with organizations and businesses to maintain community presence, obtain referrals, and generate new business. Coordinate with the FA to assist in new client creation via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies. Continuously develop yourself to grow personally and professionally. Job Requirements High School Diploma/Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not registered, registrations may be obtained during the assigned study period. At least 3‑5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry preferred. FINRA licenses required within three months; state insurance licenses required.
