?? $25-$32/hr (Temp-to-Hire) | Up to $96,000 annually upon conversion

?? Monday-Friday | Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

A well-established, mission-driven nonprofit organization in the Pasadena area is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing support in employee relations, labor relations, investigations, performance management, and HR compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist or Senior HR Generalist looking to advance into an HRBP role with greater strategic responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and department leaders to provide guidance on employee relations matters and HR best practices.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Support labor relations activities, including grievance management and contract interpretation.
• Advise leadership on performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case management records.
• Utilize HR systems including ADP Workforce Now and HR Acuity to support daily HR operations.
• Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Employee Relations and Labor Relations required.
• Union environment experience , including grievances and contract interpretation.
• Strong investigation skills; certified investigator preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and HR Acuity strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee matters professionally.
