Staff Analyst (Mid-Level, Senior)

Position Overview Staff Analyst (Mid‑Level / Senior) – Mission Systems team, Arlington, VA, SoCal, Great Seattle, and Huntsville, AL. The Boeing Company is seeking a staff analyst to coordinate budgets, workforce planning, procurement, cross‑functional initiatives, and other administrative tasks. The role supports business unit alignment, data reporting, and long‑range planning alongside leadership. Responsibilities Budget & Workforce Coordination – collaborate with finance and teams to consolidate, analyze, and track budget and expenditures; administer Mission Systems overhead budget; lead workforce headcount planning and forecasting; analyze budget information, workforce levels, training and equipment needs. Reporting & Data Analysis – design and implement monthly leadership reports (Mission Systems Execution Reviews, Portfolio Reviews); provide weekly staffing, performance and metrics; analyze operational and financial data to support portfolio, IT, software and facilities planning. Long‑Range Planning & Organizational Support – lead the Long‑Range Technology Plan process; develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; support planning of facility requirements and training content. Meeting & Review Facilitation – schedule, host and facilitate Technical Design Reviews, Start Right, Gate Reviews and milestone meetings; track action items; coordinate meeting content and leadership briefings. Administrative & Communication Duties – coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, maintain distribution lists and manage file shares and website administration; facilitate communication and coordination between business units; undertake special projects such as process improvement and strategic planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 5+ years of experience producing and presenting executive‑level presentations. 5+ years of experience using SharePoint. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Management Information Systems (MIS). 5+ years leading teams in formal and/or informal roles. Proven experience in budget coordination, senior‑level communication, and business unit alignment. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present data. Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels. Experience supporting mission‑critical systems and organizational leadership in a corporate or defense environment. Proficiency in Adaptive Planning, ProMPT, IRE, ARIBA, Power BI & Smartsheet. Pay range: $83,300‑$112,700 (Mid‑Level) or $95,000‑$141,450 (Senior).
