$5,000 sign-on bonus
The physical therapist in home health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the physical therapist works to help determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patients well-being, and evaluates the patients progress.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelors degree in a health-related field like biology, exercise science, or kinesiology required and
- Graduate of an accredited program from a CAPTE-accredited school required
- Work experience
- No experience required
- Licenses and certifications
- PT - Physical therapist upon hire required
- CPR - Cardiac pulmonary resuscitation upon hire required
- DL number - Driver license, valid and in state must have a current drivers license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle upon hire required
