Specialist, Procurement

Job Description Responsible for assisting personnel within the Procurement department. Communicates and interacts with vendors and a wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsible for assisting personnel within the Procurement department. Communicates and interacts with vendors and a wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsible for creating and sending daily reports in Excel and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Responsible for assisting personnel within Procurement confirming all purchase orders. Prepare orders to be dropped ship directly to customers and from other Operating Companies. File and track all special orders. Assist in pricing and sourcing products as needed. Communicate and interact with vendors and company personnel in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensuring that Area Manager and vendors’ questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Interface with all Operations, Procurement and Logistics staff. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required Experience: 6-12 Months of procurement, warehouse, and/or administrative experience in related area. #J-18808-Ljbffr Performance Foodservice
