Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roof Truss Builder to join our team in Bartow, FL, 33830. As a Roof Truss Builder, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that our structures are built with precision and quality. Responsibilities- Construct roof trusses according to specifications and blueprints.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal components with accuracy.
- Inspect finished trusses for quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in carpentry or construction is a plus.
- Proven experience in roof truss building or related construction work.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
