Ocean Export Coordinator

Job Description Job Description Full-Time | Monday–Friday Pay: $22.00 per hour Schedule Options: • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch) We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join a growing logistics team in an Ocean Export / Cargo Coordination role. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous logistics, freight forwarding, warehouse office, or shipping experience looking to continue growing within the transportation and import/export industry. Responsibilities: Track and monitor cargo shipments with carriers Coordinate shipment updates and communicate with transportation providers Assist with import/export documentation and shipment processing Work with customs brokers regarding cargo clearances Maintain accurate shipment records and status updates Resolve shipment discrepancies and delivery issues Support daily logistics and office operations in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, or cargo coordination Familiarity with tracking shipments and communicating with carriers Knowledge of shipping documents such as: Master Bill of Lading (MBL) House Bill of Lading (HBL) preferred Comfortable communicating with customs brokers and transportation providers Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines Good communication and email skills Basic computer proficiency required Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehouse office, transportation coordination, or supply chain is a plus Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with carriers and customs brokers Understanding of import terms and shipping documentation Experience in ocean export, import logistics, or freight forwarding environments preferred Company Description We are committed to providing personalized, high-quality staffing solutions that meet the unique needs of each business we serve.
