Essential Qualifications 1) Experienced in Sales & Ops. 2) Ability to sell and close deals. 3) Knowledge of freight forwarding/NVOCC ops. 4) Excellent working knowledge in shipping business. 5) Understanding of typical requirements, terminology and processes of shipping AIR FREIGHT. 6) Working knowledge of typical warehousing, freight consolidation and container freight. 7) Ability to perform freight cost analysis, cut AWB. 8) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Both English & Spanish). 9) Excellent presentation and communication skills. 10) Previous experience working in freight forwarding company dealing in AIR FREIGHT EXPORTS and CONSOL. Duties and Responsibilities 1) Find local and international logistics business partners. 2) Sell air freight services. 3) Follow up with customers, resolve issues and obtain shipping commitments. 4) Set up pricing quotations and meet both sales and margin projections. 5) Work with operations staff to provide customers the desired service level. 6) Update Company owned software with customer information. Education and Experience 1) Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in AIR FREIGHT EXPORTS. 2) Knowledge of AIR CARRIER terminology and pricing spot rates etc., 3) Excellent computer skills, use of Excel, Word and Outlook. 4) Technical training in freight forwarding, Customs regulations, or related fields is a PLUS. Language Skills1) Require excellent English verbal and writing skills. Leadership and Reasoning skills 1) MUST be a self-starter and a high achiever. 2) Ability to close sales and convince customers to use company services. 3) Ability to resolve practical operational problems and deal with a variety of situations. 4) Must be organized and detailed orientated. 5) Ability to work in a high pressure environment and multitask. Work Ethics 1) Must have a very strong sense of responsibility for completing tasks and achieving goals. 2) Must be honest and open in discussions. 3) Must be both dependable and loyal. 4) Must maintain total confidentially of information.
