Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary testing and crafting personalized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or working independently as your qualifications allow
• Guide patients and their families in preventative care, wellness practices, and disease management strategies
• Prescribe medicines and treatments in adherence to your professional scope
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic condition management to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days)
