Accountant / Sr. Bookkeeper

Our client, is a boutique accounting, investment banking and financial services firm. Our client partners with a private holding company dedicated to the emerging cannabis industry. They act as an outsource CFO to private companies with revenues between $1 Million and $30 Million. Our client is a transactional CFO and focus on companies in growth mode looking for growth capital. They also act as a multi-family office and provide direct investment due diligence and negotiate transactions and terms sheets to families and individuals seeking to invest in private placement transactions. Our client currently seeks a seasoned accountant professional within our growing organization. Job Description Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. QuickBooks Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries. Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. Maintains historical records by filing documents. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
