This role is based onsite at Meridian Academy, serving students in grades 6-12 who require intensive behavioral and social/emotional support within a separate school program. You’ll work closely with committed professionals, providing comprehensive mental health services for students with significant and complex needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid CO Department of Education SSP (Special Service Provider) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsement
- Availability for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), starting as soon as possible through May 27, 2027
- Experience supporting middle and high school students with severe behavioral challenges (such as those with backgrounds in facility placements or day treatment centers)
- Strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with program staff, families, and related service providers
- Ability to conduct evaluations, attend and contribute to IEP meetings, and participate in IEP development
- Candidates must meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including a background check and fingerprinting

- Deliver direct mental health support to a maximum caseload of 30 students (currently 23)
- Address social-emotional and behavioral needs through evidence-based interventions
- Complete all IEP-related duties thoroughly and punctually
