Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a specialized academic environment dedicated to middle and high schoolers with intensive behavioral and social/emotional needs. This contract opportunity is perfect for a passionate professional eager to deliver essential mental health services and collaborate with a dedicated team to foster positive growth in students who thrive with extra care.

You’ll provide on-site school psychology or social work services at a single academy, working closely with staff to address the complex needs of students in grades 6–12. Your expertise will help shape IEP strategies, facilitate student evaluations, lead IEP meetings, develop plans, and ensure that each student receives the right supports.

Key requirements:

• Valid CO Department of Education Special Service Provider (SSP) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsements.
• CDE authorization as a school social worker or school psychologist.
• Experience with middle/high school populations, particularly those exhibiting significant behavioral challenges or coming from facility placements or day treatment backgrounds.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required before starting.
• Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the school year (now–May 27, 2027).
• Comfort managing a caseload currently at 23, with potential to grow to 30.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative mental health services based on student IEPs.
• Collaborate with program staff to support social-emotional and behavioral growth.
• Conduct IEP evaluations, facilitate meetings, and contribute to IEP development and implementation.
• Serve as a critical resource for staff and families navigating intensive behavioral needs.
