Step into a profoundly impactful role supporting students with complex social, emotional, and behavioral needs at a specialized academy for grades 6–12. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference for students who thrive on individualized attention, collaborative support, and evidence-based interventions.

In this dynamic setting, you’ll work directly with a dedicated team to deliver mental health services and wraparound supports for students with significant needs as outlined in their IEPs. The caseload includes students who have not found success in other environments, allowing you to apply your expertise where it matters most. Your responsibilities encompass student assessment, direct therapeutic support, collaborative IEP development, and active participation in school-wide planning meetings.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider (SSP) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience working with middle and high school students exhibiting intensive behavioral and emotional challenges; experience in day treatment, facility placements, or similar settings highly valued
• Ability to provide comprehensive IEP evaluations, develop and implement plans, and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills with both students and staff
• Must complete district background check and fingerprints prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based mental health services to students (grades 6–12) at Meridian Academy
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, develop behavior and academic interventions, and complete documentation as required
• Collaborate daily with educational staff, families, and outside agencies to promote positive youth outcomes
• Support student growth with individualized social-emotional and behavioral programming

You’ll be working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, in a specialized program for students who benefit from your clinical expertise and dedication.
