IT Support Technician – Jupiter, FL - Onsite PositionUnder the supervision of the Sr. Manager, Information Technology, the Computer Support Technician ensures the proper functioning of computer hardware and software.Responsibilities:Ensure our technologies are accessible and equipped with up-to-date hardware and software.Provide support to employees at our various locations in Canada and the United States in person or remotely.Troubleshooting our hardware, software, and network operating systems.Be able to respond quickly to critical issues.Learn and know all Neptune hardware and software.Install, upgrade, and evolve hardware and software.Be able to examine or replace parts on computers.Provide guidance to new users on existing technologies.Train new users on our existing and future technologies.Active Directory ManagementFile Server ManagementMaintain inventory of computer equipment and licenses including maintenance contractsDocument outages and troubleshoot issues.Perform other related duties as required during or outside regular working hours.Be able to travel as needed to do work at other sites.Cyber SecurityEnsure that antiviruses and anti-malware are installed and updated on all computers.Ensure that no user is an administrator of their computer.Ensure all operating systems are at the right version, supported and patched automatically.Ensure that no illegitimate software is installed on computers.Experience/Requirements:Associate Degree or higher in Computer Technology/Science2 to 3 years of experience as an IT Support TechnicianMicrosoft and Windows including Active DirectoryMicrosoft Office 365 Experience with ERP systemsComputer hardware, system softwareComputer troubleshootingCyber SecurityInternet and email softwareAnalysis and problem-solving skillsFast and efficient decision-makingGood written and verbal communicationGood listening skillsGood time managementKnowledge of routers and switches
